    Wooooow maaaaaan far out

  2. Helder Almeida

There’s no life there. Red stars are very active more than our yellow sun so I don’t think any planet can have intelligent life while they’re around red dwarf star

  3. FlamingPhoenix

James Webb telescope will figure it out

  4. Chris_Wooden_Eye

Red Dwarves and terrestrial planets seem to go hand in hand. This is something Science Fiction needs to start exploiting. It’s always been similar to earth or earth-like planets that get featured just because it’s easier. Time to get realistic if you are writing some science fission in the future maybe include Red Dwarf systems.

About Kepler 160 D what to say….10 degrees difference is a lot! A 5 Celsius average is pretty cold it might be habitable but not comfortable for us.

  5. Mew2King's Marth

    Is this finally aliens?

  6. Michael Madden

    Thank you Anton.

  7. Mehdi

    YOU WILL BE UPGRADED

  8. Jagzeplin

maybe if we evolved on a planet revolving a red dwarf we would see in infrared and would be talking bout these G type stars emitting light in ultra ultraviolet

  9. Mihai Bica

    Haha! 2nd!

  10. extremawesomazing

    Cool stuff!

  11. Walter 1408

Sounds like a good place to buy a used Tonton.

  12. Raging S

So there’s an infinite number of earths? No, just us and Cowboy Earth.

  13. Jeffrey A. Smith

    Outstanding!

  14. Aaron Wanker

Just give us 50yrs at peak greenhouse production, we’ll get that planet up to 15°.

  15. Tom

Wow 18,000,000,000,000,000 miles. Right around the corner. 🤫

  16. Ahmed Syed

Earth is so lucky, unusually large moon, tilted axis, magnetic field, big brother “Jupiter” and an excellent location of our solar system in Milkyway. 🍀

  17. Martin Ford

At least we know how to warm a planet up.

  18. Drej 101

Who wants to go on a 14 quadrillion mile journey? Let’s go!

  19. Toasted Pastry

Thanks for the video Anton! Very exciting!

  20. Dustin Lawson

Does it have a moon or more than one because that could play a roll as well on the weather system on the planet as well.

  21. UltimateBargains

The “problem” of tidally locked Earth-like planets around small stars is solved by Earth-like moons orbiting gas giants.

  22. FO Biggles

Hi Anton; Need to update your link for Universal Sandbox to Steam.

  23. Bob Spencer

So at the SOL, it would still would take 3000 years to get there…guess we will have to learn to fold space like in Dune

  24. Baxter Powel

    Tattoine has became inhabitable?!

  25. Hebe Gebes

    there’s only one earth

  26. Philip James Doyle

Remember: You’ll have to answer to the Coca-Cola company.

  27. Marcus Jaanz

They’re the Shelbyville to our Springfield

  28. Nang Ephriam

    space out wonderful persons

  30. faster than tachyon

what’s the strange electronic beep at the very beginning of this video? are you actually inside a space ship, anton?

  31. Giltr0y

    Parallel universe confirmed

  32. Tau ceti

Question:can an O type main Sequence stars support life on a planet?

  33. Mike Hurt

I always knew that thanks buddy Anton

  34. WildHog 72

Thank you, this is very cool.

  35. Meleeman

kepler 160d should be named Hoth. i hope theres a habitable snow planet that would be dank

  36. Ricky Lovenuts

I never run out of watching his videos.

  37. MC's Creations

You know… Sometimes I keep thinking of how cool would it be if we ever found a planet with dinosaur like life.
Sure, we would need technology to get there… But, anyway, it’s better to have a “Jurassic Park” in another planet than here. 😬
    Stay safe, everybody! 🖖😊

  38. 09Ateam

If the universe is infinite, there are infinite earth’s and infinite Anton’s!

  39. Silas Dense

Ya know….. I read the titles of your videos and I immediately get excited.
    Thank you
    😄

  40. chrisbayridge1

as of 7:40 EST 6 residents of Proxima B dislike this video

  41. Shag Wellington

Good video. Thanks. Very interesting. The key is the composition of it’s atmosphere. Be nice if it has Oxygen.

  42. Splaysknarf22

    ANTON I LOVE YOU!

  43. alex cameron

Looking forward to hearing more about this. 😎👍

  44. FaLLenStormyGod

put rover in so we can see ☺️

  45. Fred Rodriguez

    Just love big brother anton

  46. John Dolinka

Are there Orion Slave girls on Kepler 160 `? “? “`?

  47. Matthew Suffidy

Have a hard time walking up the stairs though.

  48. Black Hole Generator

    Good stuff m8! Thx 4 sharing. <3 U

  49. Woochinatchika Kokillibol

Finally a *possible earth like planet. Hopefully it has a moon as well, and one of sufficient size to act as a pump

  50. Rocflanagan

Let’s hop in the “car” and go check’em out..

  51. keppiih

This is going to be so interesting 🧐

  52. Gman k

Ya just jump from Red Dwarfs to G Type totally skipped over K Type Stars….. why anton why? Good video anyhow

  53. A D

The sad thing is that the residence there don’t even know it’s called Kepler.

  54. Kx53

Is it as calm as our sun though?

  55. iiDynAmiCii

    Hello wonderful Anton!

  56. Lamron333

Drinking game time again. Every time he says “a lot” you have to drink! 🍶🍾🍷🍸🍹🍺🍻🥂🥃 Good luck!!!🤮🥴

  57. Polarvoid

Even at maximum warp it would still take 3 years to get there. At sublight speeds it would take thousands of years

  58. juice Hman

Just 3000 ly!! Its just a hike, im going allready👍 Thanks for a good vid again my “starguide”🙏🇫🇮

  59. napalm

    10:24 okay okay… *unpacks suitcase

  60. Docta Osiris

Google is drunk again 😂 🤣
    Subtitles say 186f instead of 160e 😲 🤣

  61. spybaz

Looking forward to your rebranding whenever yo do it. The intro music and video is kind of clunky irritating for me (as a musician) but I guess could be considered retro cool :)

  62. James Fisher

Some day, somewhere out there is an extremely wonderful planet waiting to be found ,I believe they will call it Anton and its inhabitants ANTONIANS !!!

  63. David AE Levy

With constant 1G acceleration, we’d get there in no time!

  64. chrisbayridge1

If the planet has Oil, we will bring it some freedom no matter the distance lol

  65. excuZza

100% thought this was clickbait until I noticed who uploaded it.

  66. Kenneth Carpenter II

Are there any areas we look where we see reflections of our own solar system or do reflections not exist in space? Also do all those hot gases and dust cause mirages? Forgive my question but I’ve literally never heard anyone discuss it

  67. olho

what if it’s an echo of our solar system sometime in the past or future; might even be off by a certain scale due to the echo

  68. Gallium Games

Given that it is 2x the size of Earth, it probably retained a lot more atmosphere and is more likely than not a Venus hell world.

  69. W P

    Here we go again!

  70. 3D Slug

saw some interestiing news today can you do a video on this please

“Astronomers updated distance data in the universe: other galaxies are closer than previously thought. Employees of the National Radio Astronomy Observatory conducted new distance measurements using radio telescopes and found that other galaxies are closer to us than previously thought.”

  71. Omega Actual

Even if there is a slight average temperature difference, there are massively warm places here on Earth too . This is great news though; always nice to see our understanding of the neighborhood improving every day.

  72. MrShiggitty

Commission the light speed vehicle already :)

I’m good for 20$ on the kickstarter :)

  73. Mr. Doggo

    Mom: come eat your pizza
    Me: eating this tasty imformation

  74. Daniel Pirela

Something tells me that we will discovered Earth 2.0 when i become in ashes…but i hope a could live longer to see the discovery of Earth 2.0

  75. Titus Skrt

love it Anton keep it up :)

  76. Dougie

this is what we should be focusing on. Suns like ours. Why, its the only type of sun known to host planet with life.

  77. steven briggs

Pack your bags it’s time to visit Hoth

  78. Brent Wilbur

Come on, James Webb! This, Proxima Centauri, and the Trappist system. I want to SEE!

  79. Kieren Hook

Every video I’ve watched has been brilliant, good knowledge and well represented. Keep them coming 👍

  80. Ryan Heaney

Ten degrees colder? Well if there is anything humans can help with, it would be warming a planet! 🔥 🌎

  81. Gregg Weber

3,000 Light Years gives us plenty of Elbow Room. 1,500 LY to the fence.

  82. adbell3364

3,100 years at the speed of light. Ouch!!

  83. King D - Mind

To be fair, they’re more likely to be related so it makes sense

  84. Dave54600

So when are we leaving? I’ve had enough of this dirt ball.

  85. Snippy Cutwell

Next time it’s gonna be aliens, I just know it…

  86. bingo_fuel

bad news. turns out there’s people there too and they’re also wasting away arguing over politics. we’re doomed.

  87. Zo Fryer

I just asked Elon Musk to work on the Alcubierre drive. I saw in an interview that he straight up OCD reads every single tweet.

  88. W P

Also don’t forget the water Anton :p

  89. A Million Orange Dolphins

Is it flat just like ours?

  90. Dindunuthingwrong

    >3140 light years away
Yeah I don’t think anybody is going there anytime soon, unless some miracle breakthrough discovery happens at the eagle works lab.

  91. Stacy Family

Can we take it one step at a time, we can’t even send humans to mars yet and we found earth 2.0 already.

  92. M P

Gotta send some radio signals there, then wait a few hundred years for a reply saying “please be quiet”

  93. Dustin Cordell

i just like the fact that it has a 372 day orbit

  94. Zo Fryer

This post was so cool I paused in the middle of a passenger delivery from HR 8061 to a place 125 light years away. I think I’m about halfway there. But she can wait. Stupid rich tourists. (Elite Dangerous, flying insanely fun luxury passenger missions).

  95. Greg F

10 degrees cooler? Sounds like good skiing conditions. When are we leaving?

  96. Ijon Tichy

Ignore those “wanna be friends” comments and don’t like them! They can steal your data, its serious problem

  97. Martyn Notman

I wonder if this mirror earth is like Star Treks mirror universe. Everyones wearing kink gear and is evil.
I bet evil kinky me is still boring though..

  98. The Brain Reigns

MY DAILY DOSAGE OF ASTRONOMY DELIVERED WITH A FRIENDLY SMILE FROM A COOL DUDE, THANK YOU ANTON.

  99. Yours Truly

Their version of Anton Petrov speaks Russian with an English accent and has a moustache. He has just uploaded a video about our solar system being Kepler-160’s twin system.

  100. Pat The Plant

An Earth-like planet has been newly Kepled.
    Correction: partially Kepled.
