Could we live in these universes?

  2. Closed Eye Visuals

Light CANNOT escape, unless its reflecting light, that light is fine to leave:)

  3. Jaan Kuus

Looking forward to James Webb telescope coming active.

2:17 Loki= the *sacred (space) timeline*

  8. D Po

Love this channel, content is absolutely fascinating. Honestly never been too interested in math science or space. But recently have enjoyed reading up on developments as our understanding of the universe is the next frontier 🤠😤

  9. fernysyoutube

Thanks for boiling it down to something anyone can understand eyes 👀

  10. Zantetsu13

Perhaps you’ve seen it, maybe in a dream. A murky forgotten land.

  11. like fire

Finally, new Info on blackholes..incredible info..

  12. Mikio Hirata

I have no idea what this is (and most of his contents) all about but it’s still fascinating.

  13. Sam Burns

Wow, that ‘blog post’ is a mind-blowing read.

  14. David Arundel

Interesting possit. Look forward to results from further investigations.

  15. ynp7

Light doing an orbit is a pretty trippy concept

  16. Alice Chang

I told them that when they were having that deathly fight over the data that couldn’t reconcile different models of the universe.

  17. mooncraft

    Damn..he said i am a wonderful person..made my day

  18. Space Lemur

Am I alone in not understanding this, but still thinking it’s cool?

  19. FooFoo

They all thought blackholes looked like flat 2d holes with huge ring covering it

  21. LilReaper1010

    New Wonka candy, Rundts!!!

  22. Casey G

One day they may actually allow us to see an image of the Milky Way galaxy so we know for certain what it looks like

  23. painmt651

I’m kind of imagining that if you could somehow decode it it would be like an MRI image of the universe. Totally 3-D or …uh oh…my brain just exploded

  24. GazzaBro

Got to be the hardest working youtuber, for sure. And I love it. I watch your new videos most days, and rewatch your cluster videos every night to help me sleep. Your explanations are so concise, and it gets me brainstorming. We all appreciate your love of sharing knowledge. Bloody champion 👍🍻

The “hole,” is really an unimaginably compress dense pact pile of cosmo entities in space, so smooth it reflects, light has never been proven to bend with gravity, only in atmosphere clear layers of refracted or reflected. Thus, we see a aura of optical entity discription, the accretion lights. Plus the black disco ball.

  26. Colleen Forrest

Is that ring the main timeline or a varriant? :)
    The MCU is getting scary!

  27. Times end

Can we just take a second to get over how mind bending this

  28. Aaron Alien Seeker

  29. Sir. Shawn

I imagine starting into a black hole could make one go insane

  30. Alienick TM

    Good stuff

A kiss given in ecstasy, oh great love

  34. Daniel

wow i´m just amazed by this theory !! the possibilities.. thx!!

  35. Markle2k

The first time understanding Danish helped me. “zero gange rundt”, “en gang rundt”, “to gange rundt”: “zero times around”, “one time around”, “two times around”.

  36. Big Bang Theology Is A Fa

Gee, we should see the Sagittarius-A “black hole” in this case reflecting everyone here on Earth, I wonder why this doesn’t work. 😑

  37. DoBe

Thank you Anton for another wonderfully awesome video!!!

  38. Graeme Brumfitt

WOW! Now that is cool 5**** A+ to all involved! TFS, GB :)

  39. Bobby Nanney

What happens to the photon as it preforms this sling shot move? The appearance is an increase to speed while already being at the speed of light.

  40. Pedro Magana

I actually learned something new, wow brother keep it up!!!

  41. Jonathan Blubaugh

Great, Given the numerous BH’s recording all of this light in their photon rings, and infinite number it seems, does this overthrow the Information Paradox?

  42. Sebastián G. S.

Your videos are amazing. Thank you, Anton, for sharing with non-physicists a simple way to interpret very complex natural events of the universe. This channel is wonderful!

  43. Emiliano Garcia

    Simply amazing…

  44. tensa Zangetsu

“stand on the edge of a black holes”
    Universal requiem experience

  45. Timmy Little

The brain power that is needed to even consider this idea is completely amazing to me.

  46. janki prasad soni

I want to know that how this guy get such amazing content on daily basis!

  47. Sam Worth

i just come here to hear him say that i’m a wonderful person 🥰🥰🥰

Math will always give you the answers you’re looking for.

  49. Daibhéid Eain MacFhionghu

The Black Hole is the Lord of the Rings…. so precious!

  50. tabansteintv

Imagine the shock when we see earth being reflected on these rings.

  51. Old Man Doing High Kicks

9:04 try and speak along with Anton as he tears through his outro.

  52. The PerfectFreak0

  53. Alan Brady

Imagine if it’s actually showing the multiverse!

    I’ll get me coat..

  54. Christopher McIntosh

Great Work! Thanks for yet another incredible video. I really enjoy all you do. Thanks!

  55. Sammy

Could the earth or solar system already have been through a blackhole?

  56. Multi topic interest

How weird it would be as you see the entire universe before falling into the Black-hole…

  57. Eleanor Chapple

I just love the comments on Anton’ s channel.

  58. No one star

Makes perfect sense. Seriously. In more ways than one.

  59. telidoscope

“that technically reflects the entire Universe back to us” So, essentially Indra’s Net.

  60. Paul O'Neill

I’m missing something,.. how, if the mathematics of this “e to the two pi” has only just been proven, how did we know it was thus?
We certainly had/have no way to measure it at an actual black hole.

  61. Troy Dube'

My God. Using a black hole to map the universe.

Take that Dolphins! Smartest animal my ass…

  62. Chris Griffith

This kinda confirms something I have thought for a long time, the closer you get to a black hole, the faster you will tan.

  63. UK man loves goddesses

Well spaghettify my love sausage, this is fucking epic!

  64. Mark Thompson

    WE need warp speed now!

  65. J

Every time I hear your intro I cant help but say “Hello wonderful Anton, this is person”

  66. Jeff Mathers

Awesome graphic overlaying our solar system for scale at 7:10. It really drives home how enormous M87 is. 👍

  67. Eric Fontaine

👋Anton, you wonderful person. Thanks for making this stuff easier to understand.

  68. Bob Ross

No joke: I cant wait when Anton Uploads a new Video. When i see it my brain is like: hmmmm whats it gonna be today? As always nice video:D

  69. Tim Othy

My god! It’s full of stars!

  70. Nicko Blicko

Take care ye mortal ones, for if you look into the abyss, the abyss will look into you.

  71. LoveOfTheFights

This blew my mind! Thanks man!

  72. Ali Salehuddin

All this makes me appreciate the Space Engine simulation more. The simulation does show this photon ring if you zoom in close enough into a black hole. Pretty accurate and amazing.

  73. José Barría

It would be cool to see our own Milky Way through the photon ring of M87

  74. Cirit

    e^2pi is different to e^(2^pi)

  75. Kris F

    Holy freaking shit.

  76. OldMech

7:13 Thanks for including the black holes dimensions. I thought the photo was a lot smaller.

  77. Sopixil

I imagine as you descend into the ring and look back into space behind you, you see it quickly fill up entirely with stars from further away than anybody has ever seen, like those pictures of “what if andromeda was bright enough to be seen in the night sky” kinda thing.

  78. Baker Boy

Okay, this is how I want to go, by falling into a black hole, spaghettification be damned

  79. Ryo Jiro

astronomy?? karamihan dyan ay kaGAGUhan lang ng mga madscientist, theycome crazy cause of too much science in their heads

  80. T0masi Brudoctor

This is because they are just the Iris of the elder gods.

  81. Billy Fletcher

We are witnessing the birth of a whole new universe of hard science fiction plots. It’s about time, huh?

  82. Harry Nicholas

the 64000 dollar sentence “there’s really no practical way of doing this” otherwise maybe we could have a look at earth’s history, eh?

  83. XRP 747E

That is mind blowing, Anton. Thank you as always!

  84. Rinner

This got me thinking about photon rings made of photons from other photon rings, but then my head exploded.

  85. Hans Isbrücker

So theoretically you can use a blackhole as a kind of telescope. A photon ring telescope if you will 🤔

  86. TheDemonking82

I really want to play dark souls now.

  87. gu1l7y5p4rkfiles

If I’m understanding this correctly, the video shows a tube extending from the center of divergence that the photons follow. But this tube is merely a representation of what it would look like from one specific point in space around it, but in actuality the ring is being displayed around the entirety of the black hole for any observer regardless of angle, with slight discrepancies from velocity/trajectory of the source light.

  88. Backass Words Weirdworld

Thank you Anton. You and the information you provide are much appreciated. This mystery will be solved and all will be revealed. All in good time. God bless.

  89. Jim Gobetz

I watched this video wearing the same Tee Shirt as Anton! Well, the one I bought that arrived in yesterday’s post that is. Great stuff as always but when are you gonna take that well deserved break you told us about a while back?

  90. Mayro

I observed this in space engine as well, I never thought you would make a video about it. 🙂

  91. Vladimir Castro González

Little YouTubers like you Anton, thank you!!

  92. Attila Szabo

First time when i saw the real image of Sagitarius A, i thought that donut shape things something that no matters which angle or direction you observe it you always see the same.

  93. MC's Creations

    Pretty interesting indeed!

  94. Rob Oo

Anton, you are so industrious. So many consistent videos every week. Thank you for all the education. I hope you reach 1M subscribers very soon.

  95. Happalula

i certainly do not claim to understand everything you say in your videos, anton, but damn do i need to say it still enriches my knowledge and puts a smile on my face for learning something new and amazing!
i simply cant say anything but “thank you” for the effort and continued education about all these miracles!

  96. ShoeMaker X010

I was today years old when I realized the rings at the top of a blackhole are actually just the light from the rings on the back being distorted

  97. Alice Amos

    Я 63-я!)))

  98. Eskimonster

Ahh thats what the shiney stuff is
